Gladys, also known as the Pest Control Man's Wife, is the third Parasite in The Cat Lady. A grotesque and vile woman in a nurse's dress, she is married to the Pest Control Man, who abducts and tries to molest Susan.

Biography

Gladys is a gaunt woman with decaying skin from corrosive substances (most likely bleach). She always walks with a strange, unnatural limp. She wears a bloody nurse costume, complete with a hat. Gladys speaks in a loud, screechy voice, constantly expressing her jealousy regarding her husband's predatory attention towards their female victims.

Gladys and the Pest Control Man live in a large house out in the English countryside, far away from everyone else. Their home is obscurred in a thick fog, making travel on foot dangerous there. The Pest Control Man takes cats and human victims (often women) home with him to kill and eat, though he has tried to rape abducted women that he likes, enraging Gladys. She often disfigures women with bleach, making them undesirable to her husband before the couple murder and eat them. They dispose of what's left of them in chemical baths.

Gladys is just as evil as her husband, if not more so, though is far more intelligent than him. She often belittles and criticizes the Pest Control Man over his stupidity and unfaithfulness, which he dislikes but is too weak-willed to confront her about.
